Photo - Electro Catalysis
PEC is an international research program based in Regensburg consisting of 11 research groups at the University of Regensburg and Technical University of Munich.
The focus of the research network is the development of sustainable chemical transfor¬mations that are endergonic or have high activation barriers by photonic or electric energy input, contrasting the traditional approach of employing high-energy reagents for the activation of molecules.
